Migros has launched last week its new TV offer.In a first phase this TV offer is only sold via the web. The online shop is based on Magento and has been designed by OWT. The M-Budget eShop proposes as well internet and a mobile products.

According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau, Internet advertising revenues are up 18% in Q3 of 2012, hiting close to $9.3 billion in the U.S. (see IAB press release: http://bit.ly/V8LrII)
Although TV advertising is still the biggest channel (42% spend), online advertising is crushing print ad spend (40% vs 10%), will it also take over TV spend in 2013? In the U.S., Google generates as much advertising revenue as all newspapers & magazines put together.

Forrester says: Multichannel options will expand dramatically.
In Europe and north America the integration of online and offline channels has been viewed as essential for multichannel retailers to stave off competition from online-only businesses. Indeed, leading retailers in markets such as the UK and Germany have proven the success of their multichannel offerings such as pickup in-store and returns. In 2013 multichannel features will be part of all eBusiness strategies.
